A Successful First Edition: The International “Committed & Different” Day at Kersia
Last Wednesday, we celebrated the very first International “Committed & Different” Day, a global initiative led by Kersia Group’s program of the same name.
This program aims to foster a culture of change-makers within our company, promoting inclusion, innovation, and positive impact on society and the environment.
At Kersia Canada, our program ambassadors — Annie, David, Jean-Simon, and Myriam — rallied teams from Laval, Louiseville, Trois-Rivières, and Anjou around three key activities:
- 🧘♀️ A physical activity, such as an energizing yoga session led by Annie, to start the day with well-being and team spirit.
- 🌍 A waste collection in strategic locations, including Laval’s Centre de la nature, to take concrete action for the environment.
- 🤝 A food drive, with donations distributed to charitable organizations such as Moisson Mauricie, Moisson Montréal, and Moisson Québec, to support local communities.
This first edition was a true success, marked by engagement, collaboration, and a shared desire to make a difference. It helped us better understand the importance of the Committed & Different program, actively supported by our leadership, and highlighted how each of us plays a key role in Kersia’s transformation.
As our company continues to evolve to stay aligned with social, societal, and environmental expectations, this day reminds us that change starts with us — and that together, we can make a lasting and positive impact.
