We are currently looking for a Regional business development director (Ontario and western provinces).
What you will achieve:
Under the supervision of Director of Canadian Business Development, the Regional business development director (Ontario/West) make the implementation of strategic plan and profitable sales growth of products and services in the Ontario province. He or she is responsible to orchestrate the execution of business development activities related to the company corporate account’s division plan and objectives.
More specifically, you will be responsible to:
- Executes customer retention and sales development and marketing activities that encompass the overall company’s global products and service according to the targets defined by the annual corporate accounts business plan;
- Structures the commercial and marketing components of customers hygiene programs with various internal cross-functional stakeholders, and orchestrate all execution elements – sales, marketing, technical support – according to the company standards and aligned to customers programs agreements;
- Leads jointly with his/her superior in the negotiating and closing of customers hygiene programs commercial agreements;
- Leads strategic recommendations related to the technical support requirements that relate to recruiting, training and tasks execution assigned to the regional field technical resources;
- Presents business reviews using performance indicators – sales, profitability, technical support audits reports – to lead the implementation of action plans and corrective measures agreed with customers;
- Organizes customers and internal staff training initiatives in relation to the achievement of sales objectives and customers hygiene programs deliverables;
- Performs necessary regional or national representations to trade or customers associations to maintain the company corporate footprint within the national accounts network in accordance the strategic orientations;
- Maintains an evolving list of potential new national/ regional customers base that covers chain accounts, distributors accounts and technical service partners;
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce Marketing, Finance or other related discipline;
- Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, preferably in the commercial cleaning and hygiene industry;
- English oral and written, (French optional) ;
- Capacity to learn and assimilate various universal computer/ software programs and in house developed by the company
- Food hygiene and food safety training certified – level food handlers and managers
- Able to develop and deliver business presentations independently at corporate level;
- Demonstrates business analytical and project management skills using key performance indicators such sales report, net present value assessment (NPV), profit and loss, forecasting ;
- Demonstrates human resources skills in managing technical support staff (functional relationship) and regional Business Development Managers assigned to same trading area ;
- Accountable and committed to the execution and achievement of sales results;
- Able to operate independently with key internal stakeholders;
- Team player and able to adapt to a changing environment, which may arise from internal or external emerging situations.
