At Kersia, we believe that solving today’s most complex challenges, whether in food safety, sustainability, or social impact—requires more than just innovation. It requires people. It requires to evolve. Kersia must continuously adapt to ensure our businesses remain aligned with evolving social, societal, and environmental expectations. With all employees we shape the future of our transformation, learning new skills, adopting new mindset and finallly embracing the change.

This is the driving force behind Committed & Different (C&D), our global program designed to nurture a changemaker culture inside our company.

Why Committed and Different?

The world around us is changing fast. Pathogens are constantly evolving, external growth brings new challenges, and global issues like sustainability and food safety cannot be solved by one organization alone. That’s why Kersia launched Committed & Different—to empower employees to become leaders of change, building a common culture of belonging, adaptability, and innovation.

Through C&D, we aim to:

  • Empower employees to take the lead in driving change from within.
  • Create a shared culture that fosters inclusion, collaboration, and belonging across countries.
  • Adapt and innovate by working with Social Entrepreneurs and fresh ideas to bring forward new solutions.
  • Build alliances for a greater positive impact on people and the planet.

How Does It Work?

The program is structured around five key pillars:

  1. Cross-functional collaboration – A strong team co-designing with Ashoka, sharing values and ambitions.
  1. Leadership commitment – A long-term vision promoted from the top of the organization.
  1. Ambassadors of change – A dedicated group of employees trained and empowered to inspire others.
  1. Awareness and inclusion – Tools, communication, and activities to ensure everyone feels part of this journey.
  1. Partnerships with Social Entrepreneurs – Bringing in fresh perspectives and out-of-the-box solutions for social and environmental impact.

Outcomes So Far

The C&D program is already showing meaningful results:

  • strong core team driving the movement across 13 countries.
  • 108 trained Changemaker Ambassadors, now leading a growing community of innovators inside Kersia.
  • 170+ employees engaged in program activities, from workshops to mentoring sessions.
  • Company-wide actions regularly organized to raise awareness.
  • Collaborations with social Entrepreneurs, some have already led to ongoing partnerships.
  • snowball effect: Ambassadors are inspiring colleagues across departments, including HR and Sales, to join and bring customers along on the journey.

The Bigger Picture

C&D is more than just a program—it’s a company-wide adventure. By valuing changemaking skills as part of our culture, we’re not only boosting innovation and adaptability but also creating a stronger sense of belonging. Together, we are thinking differently to solve complex problems and ensuring Kersia continues to have a positive, lasting impact on both people and the planet.

Committed & Different is about more than change—it’s about making a difference, together.
