Kersia Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of the international group, attended the 12th edition on November 14 and 15, 2022. We met some of our customer breweries and answered their questions on the latest innovations for cleaning and sanitizing their brewing facilities and to help them with hygiene management at their microbrewery.

We took the opportunity to conduct a brief interview with our team to paint a portrait of Kersia in the microbrewery market segment.

Kersia, the global leader in food safety, has acquired Laboratoires Choisy (now Kersia Canada) mainly for its product offer in the food services sector.

Kersia Canada’s expertise in technological research and development has led to the creation of hygiene solutions focusing on added value products and ecolabel products in particular as a result of its competencies in biotechnology and know-how on enzyme solutions.

Where does Kersia’s expertise in the brewing industry come from?

To a considerable extent, Kersia’s expertise in brewing stems from the acquisition of Sopura in November 2020. Sopura is a global company based in over 100 countries with more than 70 years’ experience in the development of hygiene solutions for the brewing industry. Following the acquisition of Sopura, Kersia has become the world leader in this field for brewing hygiene solutions and water treatment.
